REFER® 280SL is a water-soluble herbicide used as a foliar spray for the control of a broad spectrum of emerged annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds in apples, berries, grapes, and tree nuts. It may also be applied for potato vine desiccation.
PROVEN SCIENCE
The active ingredient in REFER is glufosinate-ammonium which works by inhibiting the enzyme glutamine synthetase. This enzyme plays a central role in plant nitrogen metabolism.
